What exactly do I get for $54?

Will I get the online case?
It depends on your office. BCG’s careers pages say US MBA applicants get it (except a first-choice Canadian office), a select group of US undergraduates get it after the CCA, and Australia and New Zealand send it to eligible applicants first. The UK uses a numerical test, and Germany, Austria, and Switzerland use a cognitive test.
How long is the BCG online case?
BCG says about 35 minutes for US undergraduates and about 40 minutes for US MBA applicants. Candidates report 8 to 10 questions ending in a short recorded recommendation.
Is it the same as the CCA or the cognitive test?
No. The CCA combines a behavioral profile with numerical reasoning, and the cognitive test is a timed reasoning test. Use the free CCA guide or the BCG Cognitive Test Practice.
Are the practice cases as hard as the real one?
Buyers say they’re at least as hard. One called them “very hard and much like the online case”; another found them “more difficult than the real casey I received.”
I already practice cases. Do I need this?

Is it up to date?

I got it last week and it provided great aid in going through the Casey assessment.
Offers concrete tips for taking the Casey. The goal of the guide is to prepare you for the different questions and tasks and improve your skills and it does a good job in this regard. If you already prepare for cases, all the skills overlap so you could likely also do without it but it helps to work through the practice tests with the time pressure and everything.
